I am an artist and creative consultant experienced in logo and brand development, illustration and visual art pieces, songwriting and production, as well as overall creative direction and consultant services. My favorite aspect of this work is to be able to partner with my clients in order to bring their creative vision to life. I love being able to help accurately represent your business or organization through thorough exploration of your goals and visions. With a background in illustration, songwriting and program development and direction, I am a highly creative individual with strong idea generation and great communication skills. I work very quickly and am able to turn around high quality work in very short deadlines.

2 hour consultation meeting perfect for businesses, creatives and individuals who are interested in achieving their creative goals and expectations. Through my use of innovative problem solving and high idea generation, we will meet and organize your thoughts into a vision that has clarity and feels accessible. Through my 20 plus years as a working artist and musician, I have a long history of creative problem solving and production. My experience in program development and direction has allowed me to grow into a space where I can help facilitate the creativity that my clients have inside. My favorite part of this work is being able to hear my clients vision, and help guide them into a plan to execute their vision in a creative and fulfilling way. Some examples of what creative consultation can be used for:
- assist in the development of lyrics/songwriting (original music, composition for musicals, etc)
- help small businesses and organizations identify issues and opportunities and advise on creative solutions
- conduct brainstorming session to help define a business plan, understand the audience and shape ideas
- help individual find their inner story/voice and assist in using the expressive arts to create a plan for visual expression
HAIR
Hair as Art
Laura has been using her fine art background to influence her hair styling for over 20 years. She specializes in women's color, highlights, women's cuts, special occasion styles and updos. With a background in fine arts, Laura is able to use her visual aesthetics to provide her clients with innovative color and shape, while providing a laid back and welcoming environment for self care in her private studio.

The Cactus Project was started by Laura in 2022 as a way to process her own traumatic birth while also empowering others who have experienced a traumatic birth. The project is a combination of collected stories and portraits which bring to light the silent struggle many women face following a traumatic birth.
